Body Piercing Aftercare
What You Need:
- Antibacterial or antimicrobial soap
- Antiseptic or salt water mouthwash for oral cavities
- Neil Med or H2Ocean if necessary
What You Do:
- Properly cleanse the pierced area by using antibacterial or antimicrobial soap for the EXTERNAL skin, and/or an antiseptic or salt water mouthwash for the oral cavity. No ointments, alcohol, or peroxide. You can also use Neil Med or H2Ocean 2 times a day.
- For at least the first six weeks, minimize exposure to filth; do not touch new piercings with unwashed hands. Do not change out jewelry before the estimated healing time.
- Use sterile bandages or other sterile dressings when necessary.
Helpful Tips:
If you have any questions or show any signs of infection, allergic reaction, or adverse/abnormal reaction resulting from your piercing or tattoo, please call the shop immediately. If infection occurs, medical attention is required to get an antibiotic.
